And some books don’t.This book was a book with tear worthy content. However, it just didn’t reach home like Book 1- My Clarity.
Book 1 My clarity leaves off five years in the future with Elijah and Alex and book 2- My Serenity takes steps back- filling in the gaps of what happened during the past five years while adding Seth and Josie’s story.
Seth and Josie were sixth-grade sweethearts but when Josie leaves school unexpectedly and doesn’t return Seth is heart broken. A tiny yellow post-it note with Josie’s number is the only reminder of their love that Seth has left, and he holds onto it.
Years later as adults Seth and Josie reunite and sparks fly.
But Josie has a past of terror, will she allow Seth in or break his heart once more?
Negatives:
When Seth is working out at the gym with Elijah, he is struggling on the machines to keep up- apparently he has gained 10 pounds, he also has to take off weight from the barbell because he can’t bench as much. But then when he is with Josie he has a six pack and toned and muscular arms. The two images contradict each other.
Recommended for:
New adult romance lovers.

Another great read, loved My Clarity with Elijah & Alex and now Seth & Josie...couldn't put this book down read it in a day.... love it!
I thought it was a sweet story. I really liked the characters. I would have loved for book to be a little grittier.
I loved this book! Well written with an interesting story, this sweet, pure and cute love story is adorable! What is meant to be is meant to be, even through harsh past and horrible situations! Seth and Josie will make your heart melt....
Seth and Josie's story. Seth's father has passed away and he returns home to help his mother with the family businesses. Josie is a girl he hasn't seen in years and was his first love. Seeing her again after she left him with not even a goodby can they pick up where they left off?
Loving this series, cannot wait to see if there is another bk in the My Clarity series! Seth and Josie, are so awesome and one of those loves meant to be, you will be pulled into this story. Met in grade school, most would call it a crush, but then the meet again by chance, she has so much she is afraid to share, unwilling and fear it will hurt them, she runs. He is so hurt, can there be a them? You have to read it, great story, absolutely❤️
My Serenity is about Josefina and Seth. The two fell in love at a young age, 6th grade. Years later they get a second chance at romance. Let's get to the point of why I gave it 3.5. I didn't like Josie, she had too many secrets that could get people hurt, but yet she risked the one she loved. Why wouldn't you would tell him the truth so that he knew what he was up against. But nope, I didn't conncect with her at all. The story is sweet and nice, it just didn't have the same effect on me as book one.

Seth and Josie were 6th grade sweethearts and they were so cute together..one minute they were happy and the next she was gone..
Fast forward and Seth is all man, taking care of family and business.. One fortunate encounter and a very lucky second ;) and Seth and Josie meet again!!!
Was theirs love or only a silly crush?
Would they be friends and move on with their lives or try to work out the past together?
This story is bittersweet, at the beginning at least, because you really wish them happiness and when you read about Josie's past and what Seth is going through in the present your heart breaks.. you will cry and you will smile, you will cheer for them and you will get mad, not only at them, but St other 2 individuals.. I am still mad lol
I am also very happy because Elijah and Alex are back, along with Lexi and Jimmy!!!
I love this series and can't wait to see what Mary Ting will come up with in the next book!!!!
